Responsibilities
- Deliver packages to customers in a safe, efficient, and timely manner, ensuring the highest level of customer service.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition.
- Load and unload parcels and packages from the delivery vehicle with care, using proper lifting techniques.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating the vehicle.
- Handle customer interactions professionally and courteously, resolving any delivery issues or questions.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle, including the interior and exterior.
- Utilize handheld devices to track delivery status and update information accurately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent state driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical ability to lift, carry, and push packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, customer-focused attitude.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
