Responsibilities
- Load and unload packages from the delivery van using proper safety equipment.
- Drive to designated customer delivery locations in a safe and timely manner.
- Follow established routes and delivery sequences to ensure efficiency.
- Interact professionally with customers, resolving delivery issues with a positive attitude.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections, maintenance checks, and cleaning.
- Utilize handheld devices to track delivery status and confirm customer signatures.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license (Class C) with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong time management skills and ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Proficiency with smartphone technology and basic computer navigation.
- Must be willing to undergo a background check and drug screening.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
