Responsibilities
- Drive a delivery van to safely transport packages to residential and business addresses along an assigned route.
- Load, unload, and organize packages on the vehicle to ensure efficient delivery and safety.
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, handling package handling issues with care.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain signatures or proof of delivery as required.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and Amazon's safety policies and procedures at all times.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Valid Driver's License (Class C or higher).
- Must possess a clean driving record (no major violations within the last 3-5 years).
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
