Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses
- Load/unload packages using proper lifting techniques (up to 50 lbs)
- Operate delivery vehicles in various weather conditions and traffic scenarios
- Utilize Amazon's delivery technology for route optimization and tracking
- Provide exceptional customer service during package deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route issues or delays
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Smartphone proficiency for delivery apps and communication
- Flexibility to work varied shifts (early morning to evening)
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Basic knowledge of Kansas City area geography
- Reliable transportation to designated depot location
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
