Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver Amazon packages to residential and business addresses
- Load/unload packages from delivery vehicles using proper lifting techniques
- Operate handheld scanning devices to track deliveries and manage routes
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report any delivery exceptions
- Ensure vehicle cleanliness and perform basic safety checks
- Provide exceptional customer service during package interactions
- Adhere to all traffic laws and Amazon safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with minimum 2 years of driving experience
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with Jersey City area
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Reliable transportation to the delivery station
- Basic smartphone proficiency for using Amazon delivery apps
