Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver Amazon packages to residential and commercial addresses within designated New Orleans routes
- Maintain accurate delivery records and scan packages using Amazon's handheld technology
- Provide exceptional customer service through professional communication and problem-solving
- Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and ensure proper loading/unloading of packages
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and Amazon's delivery standards
- Communicate proactively with dispatch team regarding route delays or issues
- Represent Amazon with professionalism and integrity in all customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Louisiana driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience (commercial or delivery preferred)
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shift
- Strong time management skills and ability to follow delivery schedules
- Proficiency using GPS navigation and mobile technology
- Pass background check and drug screening (Amazon requirements)
- Basic computer literacy for package scanning systems
- Reliable transportation to and from designated depot location
