Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver Amazon packages to residential and commercial addresses within designated routes
- Operate delivery vehicles in compliance with all traffic laws and Amazon safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and package handling
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation using Amazon's mobile technology
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely and cost-effective operations
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery exceptions and customer inquiries
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience or equivalent delivery background
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong time management skills with ability to meet strict delivery deadlines
- Proficiency with smartphone navigation apps and basic technology systems
- Pass background check and drug screening per Amazon requirements
- Flexibility to work variable shifts including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish (bilingual preferred)
