Responsibilities
- Operate commercial delivery vans to transport Amazon packages to residential and commercial addresses.
- Execute assigned delivery routes efficiently, ensuring all stops are completed within the designated timeframe.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols, including conducting thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Provide exceptional customer service, handling package hand-offs with professionalism and care.
- Utilize handheld devices to update delivery status and scan packages accurately.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle at all times.
- Follow local traffic laws and company driving policies to ensure a safe work environment.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or equivalent.
- Must possess a clean driving record (no major violations within the last 3-5 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer literacy for using delivery management software.
- Willingness to work early mornings, late evenings, and weekends as required.
- Physically capable of lifting packages up to 50 lbs and loading/unloading the vehicle.
