Responsibilities
- Safely operate a commercial delivery van to transport packages to customer doorsteps and designated locations.
- Load, unload, and organize packages efficiently using handheld scanning devices.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and Amazon DSP policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service, including handling returns and answering inquiries.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure vehicle safety and cleanliness.
- Manage package routing to optimize delivery time and accuracy.
- Handle cash and card payments for COD (Cash on Delivery) orders when required.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no major violations within the last 3-5 years).
- Ability to lift, carry, and stack packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
- Flexibility to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic computer proficiency for navigating delivery routes and scanning packages.
- Fluency in English for clear communication with customers and dispatch.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
