Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles in compliance with traffic laws and Amazon safety protocols
- Efficiently sort, scan, and package deliveries for optimal route planning
- Provide exceptional customer service during residential and commercial deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report vehicle maintenance needs
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure timely loading and unloading
- Adhere to Amazon's delivery standards for on-time performance
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
Qualifications
- Valid California Class C driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery apps
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced environment
- Flexible availability for morning shifts (typically 4 AM - 1 PM)
