Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and organize packages onto the delivery vehicle safely and efficiently.
- Safely operate a delivery van to transport packages to designated addresses in the Charlotte area.
- Interact professionally with customers, ensuring packages are delivered with care and maintaining a positive brand image.
- Scan and track packages using handheld devices to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues to the fleet manager.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while driving.
- Handle returns or missed deliveries according to standard operating procedures.
Qualifications
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record (no major violations).
- Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver packages weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Basic proficiency with technology, including using handheld scanning devices.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate clearly.
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions (heat, rain, snow).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
