Job Overview:
As an Amazon DSP Driver, you will be the face of our delivery service. You will ensure our customers have a positive unboxing experience by delivering packages with care and professionalism. This is a fast-paced role that requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to safety.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery van to transport packages to residential and commercial addresses in Anchorage.
- Load and unload packages efficiently, ensuring items are secure and undamaged.
- Interact professionally with customers to provide excellent service and resolve delivery issues.
- Follow planned routes to ensure timely deliveries and adherence to time windows.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior and exterior at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License (Class B with air brake endorsement preferred).
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver packages weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with GPS navigation systems.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Eligible to work in the United States.
