Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver Amazon packages to residential and commercial addresses within assigned routes
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation using provided scanning technology
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to all traffic laws and Amazon's safety protocols
- Manage time effectively to meet daily delivery quotas
- Assist with loading/unloading packages at the distribution center
- Communicate route challenges and delivery issues to dispatch team
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (Class A or B) or valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to work flexible shifts including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of Washington, DC metropolitan area geography
