Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport Amazon packages to residential and business addresses
- Load/unload packages efficiently using proper lifting techniques and equipment
- Maintain accurate delivery records and scan packages using handheld devices
- Provide exceptional customer service during package deliveries and address inquiries
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere to strict delivery timelines and Amazon's quality standards
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team regarding route changes or delays
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) Class A or B with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience in similar vehicles
- Ability to lift packages up to 70 lbs repeatedly throughout shift
- Strong time management skills and ability to follow strict delivery schedules
- Excellent customer service communication skills
- Basic smartphone proficiency for route navigation and package scanning
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Pass background check and drug screening as required by Amazon
