Responsibilities
- Safely Deliver Packages: Navigate efficiently to deliver packages to customers' doorsteps with a friendly smile and professional demeanor.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Keep your assigned delivery vehicle clean, organized, and in excellent working condition throughout your shift.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers, answer questions, and handle package exceptions with care and courtesy.
- Load and Unload: Efficiently load packages onto the vehicle and organize them for optimal delivery routes.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols, traffic laws, and company policies to ensure a secure work environment.
- Route Planning: Follow designated delivery routes and time management guidelines to ensure on-time deliveries.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License: Must possess a valid state-issued driver's license.
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years old.
- Driving Record: Clean driving record with no serious traffic violations.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to read maps and navigate effectively.
- Equipment: Reliable personal vehicle or access to a company vehicle (as per DSP requirements).
