Responsibilities
- Develop novel quantum machine learning algorithms for 2026-era computational challenges
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams to integrate quantum computing with neural network architectures
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and conferences (Nature, NeurIPS, etc.)
- Design and implement hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for enterprise applications
- Mentor junior researchers and establish new research methodologies for quantum AI
- Secure competitive grants and patents for proprietary quantum-enhanced AI technologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Machine Learning, or Computational Physics (2019-2025 graduates preferred)
- Published research in quantum machine learning or related fields with 3+ peer-reviewed papers
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Quil, Cirq) and AI frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow)
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Q, Rigetti, D-Wave) and cloud quantum services
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum information theory, and statistical modeling
- Exceptional problem-solving skills for complex multi-variable systems
