Responsibilities
- Develop and implement AI ethics governance frameworks aligned with IEEE 7000 and EU AI Act standards
- Lead cross-functional audits of machine learning models for bias, fairness, and transparency
- Advocate for ethical AI principles in product development lifecycles and stakeholder communications
- Establish continuous monitoring protocols for deployed AI systems using explainable AI (XAI) techniques
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to navigate evolving regulatory landscapes
- Represent the organization in industry consortiums (e.g., Partnership on AI) and publish thought leadership
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Ethics, Law, or related field with 8+ years AI governance experience
- Proven expertise in implementing ethical AI frameworks in enterprise environments
- Deep understanding of regulatory requirements (GDPR, EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF)
- Strong background in bias detection methodologies and fairness metrics
- Certification in AI Ethics (e.g., IBM AI Ethics, Stanford HAI) preferred
- Experience testifying before regulatory bodies on AI policy matters
- Published research on algorithmic accountability or responsible AI deployment
