- Identify and partner with cutting-edge startups, universities, and research institutions
- Present strategic visions to C-suite and board members with compelling data narratives
- Manage innovation portfolio with P&L responsibility for $50M+ R&D budget
- Author thought leadership pieces on future technology trends
- Mentor junior strategists in horizon scanning and scenario planning
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy, R&D, or innovation roles with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Advanced degree in STEM field or MBA from top-tier institution
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, generative AI, synthetic biology
- Exceptional financial modeling skills for high-growth ventures
- Published thought leadership in Harvard Business Review or similar
- Proficient in scenario planning tools (e.g., Palisade @RISK)
- Fluency in Mandarin or German preferred for global partnerships
