Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 innovation roadmaps using scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-generation products and services
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing) and societal trends to identify disruptive opportunities
- Create strategic frameworks for sustainable growth and ethical innovation deployment
- Present foresight insights to executive stakeholders through compelling narratives and visualizations
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, research labs, and industry disruptors
- Design and facilitate future-focused workshops for organizational alignment
- Monitor and evaluate innovation ecosystems to maintain competitive advantage
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in innovation strategy, R&D leadership, or futures research
- Proven track record developing long-term strategic frameworks for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in foresight methodologies (Delphi method, backcasting, trend analysis)
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional systems thinking and complex problem-solving abilities
- Strong stakeholder management and executive presentation skills
- Certification in innovation management (e.g., CPSI, CIP) preferred
