Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies and socio-economic trends to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026-2030
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks using scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into actionable product roadmaps
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype solutions for anticipated market disruptions
- Author thought leadership reports and present strategic recommendations to stakeholders
- Monitor global innovation ecosystems through AI-driven trend-sensing tools and human intelligence networks
- Advise executive leadership on long-term positioning in rapidly evolving industries
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurism role
- Expertise in trend analysis tools (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, nanotech)
- Proven ability to translate complex future scenarios into business strategies
- Experience presenting to C-suite executives and board-level stakeholders
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from futurists.org) preferred
- Portfolio of published foresight work or strategic roadmaps
