Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and market trends through 2026
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive futures intelligence framework for strategic decision-making
- Partner with C-suite executives to align organizational strategy with emerging opportunities
- Produce scenario-based forecasts and impact assessments for technological and societal shifts
- Design and facilitate strategic workshops to embed foresight into business planning cycles
- Establish thought leadership through industry publications and conference presentations
- Monitor geopolitical, environmental, and regulatory factors affecting long-term strategy
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, Business Strategy, or related field
- Minimum 7 years of experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurism
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented business strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systems thinking methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse stakeholders
- Portfolio demonstrating previous futures research and strategic foresight projects
