Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026+ strategic scenarios using trend analysis, horizon scanning, and predictive modeling
- Design and lead foresight workshops for executive teams to co-create future-ready roadmaps
- Produce high-impact whitepapers and visualizations translating complex futures into compelling narratives
- Partner with R&D teams to identify breakthrough opportunities aligned with long-term market trajectories
- Build and maintain a proprietary foresight ecosystem including AI-powered trend detection tools
- Represent the firm at global futurist conferences and thought leadership forums
- Mentor junior strategists in advanced futures methodologies and critical thinking frameworks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 5+ years experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven track record of developing multi-year future scenarios for Fortune 500 clients
- Expertise in horizon scanning, Delphi methods, and scenario planning methodologies
- Exceptional data visualization skills with proficiency in tools like Tableau or D3.js
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Published thought leadership in futures or strategy publications (e.g., Futures Journal, Strategy+Business)
