Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks using AI-driven trend analysis and predictive modeling
- Architect multi-year innovation roadmaps aligned with emerging market demands
- Facilitate executive workshops on future scenarios and strategic pivots
- Partner with R&D to prototype solutions for 2026's biggest challenges
- Author forward-looking whitepapers and thought leadership content
- Monitor global megatrends (demographic, climate, technological) for strategic implications
- Build cross-functional coalitions to embed future-readiness across all departments
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech trend analysis
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Exceptional data storytelling with visualization tools (Tableau, Flourish)
- Published thought leadership on future trends or technological disruption
- Experience advising C-suite on strategic pivots for 3-5 year horizons
- Certification in futures research (e.g., WFS, APF) or equivalent practical experience
