Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging global trends (AI, biotech, climate tech, quantum computing) to identify disruptive opportunities
- Develop 5-10 year strategic scenarios for organizational resilience and competitive advantage
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-vision priorities
- Produce high-impact foresight reports and trend briefings for executive decision-making
- Partner with product teams to embed future-readiness into innovation pipelines
- Represent the company at global futurist forums and thought leadership events
- Mentor junior strategists in futures methodologies and critical thinking frameworks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futures research
- Proven track record of developing actionable long-term strategic frameworks
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or strategic impact
- Certification in futures methodologies (e.g., CFPC, APF) strongly preferred
