Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ business landscapes
- Develop strategic frameworks for long-term innovation pipelines aligned with 2030+ market trajectories
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize complex data into actionable future-state scenarios
- Partner with product teams to embed foresight methodologies into development lifecycles
- Author forward-looking thought leadership published in industry journals and executive briefings
- Represent the organization at global futurist forums and technology summits
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methods, and trend impact analysis frameworks
- Proven track record translating foresight into commercial strategy for Fortune 500 companies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech) and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to communicate complex future scenarios to diverse stakeholders
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., AC/FS, APF) required
