Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for C-suite executives on post-2026 societal shifts
- Partner with product teams to incubate moonshot projects with $10M+ budgets
- Author industry-defining white papers on sustainable tech futures
- Mentor cross-functional teams in agile futurism methodologies
- Represent Horizon at Davos, TED, and global innovation summits
- Drive patent strategy for emerging tech domains (target: 15+ filings/year)
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or future-focused tech leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Published thought leadership in top-tier journals (Nature, Harvard Business Review)
- Deep understanding of geopolitical tech policy and ethical AI frameworks
- Exceptional stakeholder management with Fortune 100 executives
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., AC/FS) or equivalent
