Responsibilities
- Develop predictive models for 2026 market disruptions using trend analysis and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional workshops with C-suite executives to translate foresight into strategic roadmaps
- Author white papers on emerging tech ethics and societal impact (AI regulation, quantum computing)
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype next-gen human-AI interfaces
- Represent company at global futurist summits (Davos, Web Summit)
- Mentor junior strategists in futures methodologies
- Monitor geopolitical and climate risk vectors affecting long-term tech adoption
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field
- 7+ years experience in strategic planning with Fortune 500 or Big Tech
- Published thought leadership on AI governance or sustainable tech (IEEE, Harvard Business Review)
- Proficiency in foresight tools (Horizon scanning, Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
- Experience advising boards on exponential technology risks
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful 5-year strategic implementations
- Clearances for handling sensitive defense/convergence projects
