Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for 2026+ emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, Web3)
- Develop and publish quarterly future-state briefings for executive leadership
- Architect innovation roadmaps aligned with 5-year strategic vision
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops on future disruption scenarios
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
- Present strategic recommendations to Board of Directors
- Mentor junior innovation analysts in futures research methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting or corporate innovation leadership
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field
- Proven track record of predicting market shifts (3+ major disruptions)
- Expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis frameworks
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, biotech)
- Published thought leadership in futurism/innovation (articles, books)
- Certification in Foresight methodologies (e.g., WFS, APF)
