Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, climate tech, biotech, quantum computing) to identify disruptive opportunities through 2030
- Develop 5-year innovation roadmaps aligned with UN SDGs and corporate ESG imperatives
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' prototyping next-gen human-machine collaboration systems
- Advise C-suite on risk mitigation and scenario planning for technological singularity impacts
- Author '2026 Horizon Reports' for investors and policymakers with data-driven predictions
- Curate strategic partnerships with quantum computing labs and neurotech startups
- Drive ethical AI governance frameworks for autonomous systems deployment
Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent strategic foresight certification
- 10+ years in innovation strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (showcase 3+ case studies)
- Expertise in scenario planning using tools like Delphi, STEEP analysis, and causal layered analysis
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their socioeconomic implications
- Exceptional storytelling skills to translate complex futures into stakeholder narratives
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed futurist journals or top-tier tech publications
- Fluency in at least two future-relevant languages (Mandarin, Spanish, Arabic preferred)
