Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts affecting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop and present strategic innovation roadmaps with 3-5 year implementation timelines
- Facilitate executive workshops on future scenarios and risk/opportunity assessment
- Partner with R&D teams to translate future insights into product development pipelines
- Monitor global innovation ecosystems and emerging markets for strategic partnerships
- Author thought leadership publications and represent the company at future-focused forums
- Build and mentor an internal 'Future Intelligence' task force
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, Strategic Planning, or related field
- 7+ years experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology strategy
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented business strategies
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, AR/VR)
- Exceptional scenario planning and trend analysis capabilities
- Executive-level communication and presentation skills
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation
