Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, biotech, climate tech, etc.) to map 5-7 year strategic pathways
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026 innovation ecosystem roadmap with measurable KPIs
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future scenarios and adaptive strategies
- Produce high-impact foresight reports and scenario-planning frameworks for executive decision-making
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, think tanks, and industry disruptors
- Mentor innovation teams in future-proofing methodologies and agile adaptation
- Monitor emerging regulatory landscapes and ethical implications of breakthrough technologies
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategy, innovation, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 or high-growth tech firms
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field
- Experience with foresight frameworks (e.g., STEEP, Delphi, causal layered analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful strategic implementation of future-oriented initiatives
- Certification in innovation management (e.g., CPSI, ICF) preferred
