Responsibilities
- Architect 5-10 year strategic roadmaps for exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineers, designers, and domain experts
- Identify and commercialize emerging market opportunities in the 2026-2030 timeframe
- Develop patentable frameworks for human-AI collaboration and ethical governance
- Present foresight findings to C-suite executives and board members
- Build and lead a dedicated futurist innovation lab with $5M+ annual budget
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government agencies
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or futurist research
- Proven track record of commercializing exponential technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum systems, synthetic biology, or neurotech
- Published author or thought leader in futurism/technology ethics
- Experience scaling innovation teams from concept to market leadership
- PhD or equivalent in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Portfolio of implemented innovations with measurable impact
