Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles on dedicated OTR routes with consistent weekly schedules
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations, DOT inspections, and company safety protocols
- Maintain accurate electronic logs, delivery documentation, and pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication and on-time deliveries
- Utilize advanced GPS routing systems to optimize efficiency and meet delivery deadlines
- Participate in ongoing safety training and equipment maintenance programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong familiarity with Virginia Beach regional logistics and highway systems
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and transportation software
- Exceptional time management and problem-solving skills
