Responsibilities
- Operate Class A tractor-trailers on dedicated Minneapolis-to-Midwest routes
- Maintain strict adherence to HOS regulations and safety protocols
- Complete thorough pre/post-trip inspections and documentation
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient load planning
- Represent NorthStar with professional conduct and customer service excellence
- Utilize telematics systems for route optimization and performance tracking
- Participate in quarterly safety training and equipment maintenance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- 2+ years OTR experience with dedicated route background preferred
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong knowledge of Midwest geography and weather conditions
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including nights/weekends
- High school diploma or equivalent required
