Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks over long-distance routes (OTR).
- Deliver freight to designated locations on or before the scheduled time.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Ensure strict compliance with FMCSA safety regulations and company policies.
- Communicate professionally with dispatch and customers.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or B.
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable OTR driving experience.
- Current DOT medical card and passing drug screen.
- Clean MVR record with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Strong understanding of DOT/HOS regulations.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull cargo weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Flexibility to work varying schedules and adapt to changing routes.
