Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL required) for regional freight transport
- Plan and execute efficient delivery routes within the St. Louis distribution network
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Coordinate warehouse operations for loading/unloading with precision and speed
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Utilize GPS technology for real-time route optimization and delivery tracking
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients regarding shipment status
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of St. Louis metro area and regional highways
- DOT medical certification and required endorsements
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including early mornings
