Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) to transport freight within Seattle and surrounding regions
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation (BOLs, logs)
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch and clients for efficient route execution
- Secure and unload cargo using proper equipment and techniques
- Communicate delivery status and potential delays proactively
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- 2+ years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR and no major preventable accidents in 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Washington state driving regulations
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Flexibility for early morning starts and regional travel
