Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A tractor-trailers over established routes to deliver freight safely and on time.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to weight distribution and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and delivery paperwork in compliance with company and government regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any delays.
- Uphold a professional image and maintain a clean driving record.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Ability to pass a DOT drug screen and background check.
- Willingness to undergo paid training for new CDL holders.
- Basic mechanical aptitude for minor vehicle adjustments.
- Strong time management and navigation skills.
