Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight throughout San Jose and surrounding areas
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and safety checks
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Manage time efficiently to meet delivery schedules
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Familiarity with San Jose metro area and California highways
- DOT medical certification and required endorsements
- Strong time management and communication skills
