Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport freight within the Saint Paul metro region
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and pre-trip/post-trip documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning and timely deliveries
- Maintain accurate logs and comply with all DOT/FMCSA regulations
- Load/unload shipments with proper handling techniques
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication
- Report mechanical issues and maintain vehicle cleanliness
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Minnesota roadways and delivery zones
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Basic knowledge of freight handling and securement
- Ability to work independently while following company protocols
- Flexibility for occasional early morning starts
