Responsibilities
- Safely transport freight throughout Southern California using a tractor-trailer unit
- Pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections ensuring DOT compliance
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging system records
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Secure and verify cargo at each stop using proper loading/unloading procedures
- Resolve delivery exceptions and communicate proactively with customers
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years tractor-trailer experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Flexibility to work variable schedules including early mornings
