Responsibilities
- Operate dry van trailers to transport freight safely and efficiently
- Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain accurate logs
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatchers for timely deliveries and pickups
- Ensure proper freight documentation and secure loading
- Communicate professionally with clients and team members
- Utilize GPS navigation for optimal routing
- Maintain clean driving record and safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather
- Pass DOT physical and background check
- Knowledge of Nevada/California shipping routes
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
