Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport freight to designated locations
- Perform pre-trip inspections and routine vehicle maintenance checks
- Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain accurate delivery documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch team to optimize delivery routes and timelines
- Load/unload freight using appropriate equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts)
- Communicate professionally with clients and resolve delivery issues
- Maintain electronic logs (ELD) and submit trip reports
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Knowledge of Arizona traffic laws and mountain driving routes
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules including early mornings and weekends
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting knowledge
