Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 trucks for local/regional freight delivery
- Pre-trip/post-trip vehicle inspections and documentation
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
- Assist with loading/unloading as needed
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL (current and clean MVR)
- Minimum 1 year tractor-trailer experience
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Flexibility for early morning start times
- Nashville metro area residency preferred
- hazmat endorsement a plus
