Responsibilities
- Safely transport freight using refrigerated, dry van, or flatbed trailers
- Complete pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
- Utilize GPS technology for real-time navigation
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Miami-Dade County roadways
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor repairs
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Flexibility for weekend/evening shifts
