Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial freight vehicles over regional routes
- Load/unload cargo with precision using modern equipment
- Maintain accurate delivery records and route documentation
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Optimize delivery routes for maximum efficiency
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check
- Strong knowledge of Louisville metro area
- Physical ability to handle freight up to 75 lbs
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends
- Basic mechanical aptitude preferred
