Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial freight vehicles (53' dry van reefers)
- Complete multi-stop deliveries within Kansas City metro area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork (eLD compliant)
- Inspect vehicles before/after trips per DOT regulations
- Communicate with dispatch team via Qualcomm systems
- Secure and verify cargo at each delivery point
- Participate in quarterly safety training sessions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years experience
- Clean MVR (no major violations in 3 years)
- DOT medical certification current
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Kansas City roadways
- Experience with eLD and Qualcomm systems preferred
- Pass pre-employment background/drug screen
