Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight between distribution centers and client locations
- Adhere to DOT regulations, including HOS compliance and thorough pre/post-trip inspections
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology to optimize delivery timelines
- Document deliveries and maintain accurate logs for inventory tracking
- Coordinate with warehouse staff for seamless loading/unloading operations
- Report mechanical issues and ensure vehicle maintenance schedules are followed
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Arizona roadways and traffic regulations
- Pass background check and drug screening (required)
- Flexibility for early morning/weekend shifts as needed
- Basic computer literacy for digital logging systems
