Responsibilities
- Transport freight safely and efficiently across Ohio and surrounding states
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch team for optimal routing
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques
- Resolve delivery issues and communicate with clients
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
- Excellent time management and route planning skills
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting abilities
- Pass background check and drug screening
