Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials (gravel, dirt, asphalt) to job sites
- Pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using digital tracking systems
- Coordinate with site supervisors to ensure timely and accurate material placement
- Perform minor equipment maintenance and report mechanical issues promptly
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Assist with loading/unloading operations when required
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with HazMat endorsement preferred
- Minimum 1 year dump truck or heavy equipment operation experience
- Clean MVR record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Strong knowledge of Plano/Dallas area routes and construction zones
- Physical ability to climb equipment, lift 50+ lbs, and work in varied weather conditions
- DOT medical certification and required documentation
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings and occasional weekends
